The Muscular Dystrophy Association’s nationally broadcast telethon, MDA’s Show of Strength Telethon, one of America’s longest-standing fundraising and entertainment events, airs Sunday,  September 1st on the ABC Television Network at 9/8c. The program raises funds and awareness to support the MDA’s mission to help children and adults affected by progressive and often fatal muscle diseases.

TeLife Fitness has long standing ties to the MDA and supports Augie’s Quest, a cure-driven campaign led by Life Fitness co-founder Augie Nieto.  Augie’s Quest supports the MDA’s ALS division with a charge to raise research funds that surpass 36 million dollars.

MDA is in the process of securing artists for this year’s telethon and all performers generously donate their time and talent to help make the event a success. The MDA telethon also will feature compelling stories of survival and hope profiling children and adults affected by muscle disease.
