Sao Paulo Football Club Youth Training Center and Center for Sports Rehabilitation

The President Natel Athlete Training Center was inaugurated by President Marcelo Portugal Gouvêa in July 2005. The center is part of a pioneering initiative of the Tricolor in their search for athletic excellence. Built on 220,000 sq. meters, the center is an international facility committed to the formation of high-performance athletes.

Located in Cotia, about 30 km from the capital, the CFA (Centro de Formação de Atletas) has an enviable sports infrastructure, along with ample educational and administrative spaces. The modern facilities embrace the surrounding nature and geography of the land, creating a functional yet comfortable arena for young athletes to grow in their sport.

The CFA also recently opened the Center for Sports Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy and Physiology. The new space is equipped with Life Fitness equipment and includes "the path of water"--a water circuit therapy system designed to enhance physical therapy techniques. Built above ground, an observation window allows physical therapists to observe movement of the athletes.
