The Lou Higgins Center is a hub of student life at Baldwin Wallace. The rec center is home to the physical education department, athletics and recreational sports and services.

The fitness center features Life Fitness equipment; a dance studio; volleyball, racquetball, basketball, and badminton courts; weight room, indoor batting cages; and a swimming pool. Free personal training is offered to all students.
