2011 Personal Trainer to Watch Honoree

Laura (MS, RD, LD/N; Founder, LifeStyle Wellness LLC) is a personal trainer, fitness instructor, and registered dietitian in Gainesville, Florida. A 10-year veteran to the health and fitness field, Laura has always had a passion for health and fitness, and a yearning to share that passion with others. At age 16, with a blossoming enthusiasm for group exercise, she began teaching aerobics classes to family and friends in the basement of her family’s home in New York. At age 18 she attended her first professional fitness convention and obtained a Group Exercise Instructor certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Over the next several years she continued to refine and diversify her skills, obtaining certifications as a personal trainer (from the American Council on Exercise), Pilates instructor (from the Pilates Institute of America), kickboxing instructor (from AFAA), and most recently Yoga instructor (from SCW Fitness).
