Unfortunately, most fitness facilities are bacterial breeding grounds caused by a "perfect storm" of close contact and moisture. While washing your hands regularly (for a full 20 seconds) is one of the best barriers to germ sharing, there are even more actions to take ownership of your health during cold and flu season.
