Help Life Fitness and SoFit Raise $10,000 for Augie’s Quest
February 19, 2013 / Category: Events
Life Fitness is excited to join fitness gaming app SoFit in an effort to raise $10,000 in support of Augie’s Quest and its mission to find a cure for ALS. SoFit is a fitness tracking and rewards app that also has a built-in charity tool which allows users to “run-raise” money for important causes.
We need the support from the entire fitness community to reach our goal. This is where you come in. For every mile logged on the SoFit app for Augie’s Quest, SoFit will be donating one dollar (up to $5,000) from now through March 21st. Life Fitness will be matching that donation in honor of our co-founder Augie Nieto, Augie’s Quest inspiration and driving force. It’s as easy as that – nothing else for you to do but download the app and get walking or running.
Are you heading to IHRSA 2013? Representatives from Life Fitness will be walking on the new Elevation Series Discover treadmill for the full day of show hours on Thursday, March 21st , logging miles on SoFit’s app that is fully integrated with Life Fitness open platform products. With all the walking you’ll be doing around the Las Vegas Convention Center that week, it’s the perfect opportunity to raise money in support of our favorite fitness industry veteran and a great cause.
Augie Nieto has served as an inspiration to our employees, our industry and everyone affected by Lou Gherig’s disease. Help us fight the good fight with Augie; download the SoFit app and get walking with Life Fitness.
