Life Fitness at FIBO 2013
April 24, 2013 / Category: Events
Now that we've had a week to recover from the craziness of FIBO, an international fitness industry tradeshow held in Germany, I can firmly say it's been the best yet.
This year FIBO went back to Cologne after 22 years and what a great place to be! It has international appeal, it's easy to reach, and offers a great selection of hotels and restaurants, which I'm sure all attendees appreciated. In fact, FIBO hit a record number of visitors this year in it's 28-year history - 96,700 attendees. More than 30% of trade visitors came from outside of Germany.

The Cologne exhibition centre is an impressive venue too and for the second time at FIBO, there was a dedicated Functional Training hall; a sure sign that this trend continues gaining momentum. In both the main hall and Functional Training hall, Life Fitness showed off the new Synrgy360 - a leading product in small group functional workouts.
Visitors filled the Life Fitness booth throughout the show, learning about our new products and catching up with industry friends. We were even hosts to a main German TV station, which decided to use our booth as backdrop for their live broadcast from FIBO.

In addition to showing off our products, we really tried to tell our story of Connection. We wanted to show how our innovative products and technologies bring clubs and members closer together
We had several zones to show how Elevation Series Discover Tablet consoles, integrated with the LFconnect website can help facility owners customize products and experiences to attract and retain members. We also demonstrated how our products, based on the LFopen platform, can be easily integrated with apps like SoFit and Runtastic, providing exercisers with personalized workout experiences.

All in all, it was an exceptional FIBO and we thank everyone who was able to stop by the booth.
