Wow, can you believe that 2015 is already coming to a close and 2016 is right around the corner?!
Every year around this time people begin to think about their New Year’s Resolutions, what changes they can make in the New Year, and how they can best reach their goals. People often like to use this time of year as a “fresh start” to leave behind some bad habits and create some good ones in the upcoming year. If you're like most people and need some motivation heading into the new year, I'm going to share some information that just might help you out.
1. Make a list of 10 REALLY specific goals that you want to accomplish in 2016, go after them with ferocity, and then conquer them
2. Have more family time
3. Create new memories
4. Love more
5. Value and Believe in yourself
6. Smile everyday
7. Create a mission statement for your life
8. Know your worth and never offer a discount
9. Be the most positive person that you know
10. Hang out with people who challenge you
11. Exercise like your life depends on it
12. Spend time everyday working on your goals
13. Read at least 1 Personal Development per month
14. Create a Vision Board
15. Find a new hobby
16. Go to the movies every month
17. Find at least 10 minutes per day to spend alone and do absolutely nothing
18. Save your money and spend like you’re a college student
19. Invest in yourself because that is your safest investment
20. Laugh hysterically EVERYDAY
21. Call an old friend to invite them out to lunch
22. Go on a 7 Day Vacation at least once per year
23. Ask lots of questions
24. Travel somewhere new
25. Learn a new language
26. Spend a week every month where you focus on meeting at least one new person per day
27. Go out dancing
28. Make up your bed first thing in the morning
29. Shower everyday
30. Get involved with your community (Join a Committee/Board of Directors or volunteer)
31. Spend time with people who are smarter than you are
32. Hike to the top of your favorite mountain to watch the sunset and/or sunrise
33. Drink lots of water
34. Sleep at least 7 hours every night
35. Eat breakfast EVERY morning
36. Cut back on your alcohol intake
37. Take your vitamins
38. Eat Vegan for a week
39. Don’t shave for a month (This goes for men & women)
40. Run a local race (i.e. 5k, 10k, half marathon, full marathon)
41. Invent something spectacular
42. Follow your heart but take your brain with you
43. Brush off your critics
44. Reward yourself
45. Don’t spend time with people and/or doing things that don’t make you feel good about YOU
46. Don’t talk about people behind their backs
47. Spend less time on social media
48. Appreciate what you have

50. Plan less and do more
51. Make your weaknesses your strength

54. Create a list of things that you want to do that scares the crap out of you, then go DO IT!
55. Create a theme for yourself that best describes how you would like 2016 to go
56. Always be the hardest working person that you know
57. Never settle
58. Work on your communication skills
59. Be honest with yourself and everyone around you
60. Select the #1 thing that needs to happen in 2016 for you to feel like the year is a success. Write that goal down and place it everywhere you look (i.e. the car, work, your mirror, your phone etc) to remind yourself throughout the year.
