Rediscover What Matters
CYBEX
We’ve been fiercely committed to real results and meaningful innovations based on scientific insight and the tireless pursuit of fitness perfection.
By the 3rd week in January, many of the New Year's Resolution crowd has already stopped showing up at the gym. Why do so many people give up on this resolution and their fitness goals so quickly? Is it the overcrowding at the gym? If so, they're actually solving the problem for others by not showing up. Maybe it is motivation. Have you seen results yet? If not, or if they aren't the results you are hoping for, that can also contribute to the pause in your gym visits. Remember, progress happens at different rates for everyone, so don't give up too quickly!
Whatever the reason, as part of helping you get (and stay) #FitIn15, here are 15 songs that you can use as a playlist or add to your current one to keep you moving during your workout. There are a few songs that you'll definitely recognize, like "Centuries", from Fall Out Boy (if you saw one minute of the College Football Playoff or an ad on ESPN for the games, this was the song) and "Lips Are Movin" by Meghan Trainor (thanks, Target!) as well as some of your favorite workout artists (Beyonce, Nicki Minaj) and some new songs that I found from outside my typical workout choices that I think you will enjoy ("Razor" by ASTR, "Push" by A-Trak) as well.
I was happy to see that a song that was a last minute addition to my last playlist, "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars became such a big hit, and I decided to keep it in this playlist as well.
I've been using this playlist for the last few workouts and I am definitely feeding off the energy. Hopefully you will be able to find some songs here that will keep you pumped up and prevent you from being one of those January casualties at your gym!
What are you listening to?
As always, I'd love to hear what music your listening to, ideas for future playlist themes, or where you're using this playlist. Leave your thoughts in the comments or on our social media posts and enjoy!
