This Anytime Fitness Brings Performance to Group Fitness

The large patch of purple turf in one corner of the gleaming 7,000-square-foot Anytime Fitness in Munster, Indiana lets exercisers know exactly where the performance group training area is. The area features a Hammer Strength Perimeter rack outfitted with battle ropes, suspension training straps and a large storage area filled with dumbbells, kettlebells and medicine balls.

Trainers at the Anytime Fitness guide exercisers through the three group training themes:

  • Base establishes proper movements and basic condition.
  • Burn is high-energy cardio and strength training intended to burn carlories.
  • Build allows exercisers to get stronger and slimmer.

This trio of options allows for exercisers of all abilities and fitness levels to get involved with group training.

“We try to focus more on giving our members results, rather than just ‘sign up here and come in as you like,’” said Mohammade Musleh, who owns the Anytime location with his brother Feras. “We promote our facility as a coaching facility now. We’re no longer just a 24-hour gym.”
