Snap Fitness is built on one idea: exercise should make you feel good, not just physically, but mentally, too. In Pleasant View, Utah, owner Mike Call wanted a facility that lived up to that promise at a bigger scale. He set out to build a gym with a modern feel, open ceilings, and a professional atmosphere that would appeal to a new kind of Snap Fitness member, one who expects more from the flagship 24/7 gym experience.

A Design Process Built Side by Side THE PARTNERSHIP

Call didn't just want new equipment. He wanted a collaborator who could turn his vision into a floor plan in real time. Working with his Life Fitness rep, Call would describe an idea and watch it come together instantly using the team's gym design software. That process shaped a facility nearly three times the size of Call's original location, growing from 4,500 square feet to almost 14,000, all outfitted wall to wall with Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment.

Ryan was fantastic. I would say, “I want it to look something like this,” and he would open up their gym design software and build it right on the spot.

Sleek Design. Serious Function. THE FLOOR EXPERIENCE

The sleek, black equipment Call chose does double duty. It signals real investment in the space, and it performs. Members recognize Hammer Strength on sight, and the ergonomic design of the unilateral line, with its small yellow adjustment notches, has become the single most-requested compliment in the gym. The new floor also gave Call room for a full Hammer Strength plate-loaded leg line, equipment his previous space couldn't accommodate. It's now one of the biggest reasons new members decide to join.

A Mad House on Day One THE RESULTS

Call worried about filling almost 14,000 square feet in a category not known for gyms this size. That worry didn't last. The location was packed from its Jan. 4, 2025, opening, and Call has more than doubled his membership since. By February, it was already clear the space they'd planned for might not be enough.
