All Life Fitness / Hammer Strength service technicians are factory-certified, meaning they have completed rigorous manufacturer training programs and are qualified to service the full range of Life Fitness / Hammer Strength commercial fitness equipment. This ensures repairs are performed to OEM standards, preserving your equipment's warranty and performance.
Yes. Life Fitness / Hammer Strength welcome independent service operators (ISOs) to join our certified service network. As a certified Life Fitness service provider, you gain access to technical resources, OEM parts discounts, and manufacturer training. Serial number locations vary by product. For most Life Fitness cardio equipment, the serial number decal is located on the base frame near the front stabilizer. For Hammer Strength strength equipment, check the weight stack shroud or frame. You can find detailed decal location guides on our Support Hub. Having your serial number on hand speeds up any fitness equipment repair or parts order.
You can submit a Life Fitness equipment service request directly through our Support Hub. From there you can diagnose issues, chat with an agent, or submit a formal service ticket. Our Factory-Certified Service Technicians are available Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–6 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday 8 a.m.–4 p.m. CT by phone, email, or live chat.
A Life Fitness service agreement is an extended protection plan that picks up where the manufacturer's warranty ends. While a warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, a fitness equipment service contract provides ongoing coverage for labor, parts, and scheduled preventative maintenance visits. It also gives facility operators predictable maintenance costs and priority access to certified gym equipment repair teams.
A fitness equipment preventative maintenance plan is a scheduled service program designed to keep your equipment operating reliably and extend its lifespan. Life Fitness offers multiple commercial gym equipment service agreements — including PM2 and PM4 plans with 2 or 4 preventative maintenance visits per year — as well as full-coverage options that include unlimited labor and parts. Life Fitness commercial equipment warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser. Coverage varies by product type and component — structural frames, mechanical parts, and electronics each carry different terms.
